Wesley Ochoka

Analyst

Wesley Ochoka is an analyst with Altai’s East Africa team. Wesley supports analysis, reporting and technical assistance for the Altai’s Evaluation, Learning and Monitoring Initiative (ELMI) project. Prior to joining Altai, Wesley was a data analyst at Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA). In this role, he was responsible for developing quantitative research tools, periodic market assessments and reporting for the Office of Executive Director (OED). He also volunteered with ICS-funded Balloon Ventures as a research assistant. He gained extensive experience in research, data analysis and reporting from his previous positions. He is an expert in data handling using software such as EViews, MATLAB, Python, SAS, STATA, SPSS and R Studio. Wesley holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics & Statistics and currently pursuing a master’s degree in Statistics at Egerton University, Kenya.
