Tereza Beniakova

Senior Consultant

Tereza Beniakova is a senior Consultant focusing on conflict, governance and service delivery in fragile states, supporting Altai’s work in Eastern Africa. In her current role, she contributes to the M&E of the UK’s Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) in Eastern Africa and is an advisor to Altai’s third party monitoring work of the EU’s Instrument Contributing to Stability and Peace (ICSP). Previously based in South Sudan, she has led on assignments for the World Bank and other key stakeholders in the country. Prior to joining Altai, Tereza worked on research and development programming in Afghanistan centred around the themes of stabilization, security and governance. Tereza holds an MSc in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a BA in War Studies from King’s College, London. Tereza is fluent in English and Czech and conversant in French and Russian
