Rose Eastwood is Altai’s Ethiopia Country Manager and Deputy Regional Director and is based in Addis Ababa with frequent travel across the Horn of Africa. Rose’s main areas of expertise are Monitoring and Evaluation, Third Party Monitoring, qualitative research and M&E technical assistance in conflict settings. Rose currently oversees Altai’s work on the FCDO-funded Ethiopia Migration Programme and also provides ongoing support to the FCO Conflict, Stability and Security Fund’s East Africa Portfolio across four key pillars, M&E technical assistance, research and third party monitoring, and evaluations and learning. Prior to joining Altai, Rose worked with IOM East and Horn of Africa, supporting the development of a regional strategy for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism and systematising their cross-region approach to M&E for their HoA and Yemen portfolios. Rose holds a Masters in Defence and Security.
