Olympe Julienne

Senior MEL Expert

Olympe Julienne is a Senior Expert at Altai – Middle East. She has fifteen years of experience working in project management and MEL, conducting evaluations, designing tools and building the capacities of development actors.

Based in Beirut and in Amman for several years, Olympe managed several research and MEL projects in Syria, Jordan and Lebanon for donors including the UE and the UK Government. Over the past years, she has been leading the technical support to the French Development Agency’s Peace and Resilience Fund, that includes support to the management and decision-making process; support to monitoring the sensitivity of contexts and the establishment of monitoring-evaluation systems adapted and sensitive to conflicts in the areas of crisis; and strengthen the MEL capacities of implementing partners, working with dozens of NGOs and public agencies over the world. The task also includes the design, management and update of the Minka platform, presenting up to date achievements of the French actions.

Olympe holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and a Bachelor’s in Political Sciences from the French university Sciences-Po Paris. She is fluent in English and French.
