Ndeye Fatou Sarr is an analyst within the Environment and Climate practice at Altai Consulting's West Africa office, based in Dakar. She contributes to research projects and missions addressing environmental issues, such as the mainstreaming of biodiversity into sectoral policies.
Prior to joining Altai, she worked as an Environment and Climate Project Officer at Advans International, where she played a key role in implementing a climate resilience project for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Ghana, through tailored financial tools and awareness campaigns on adaptation measures. Ndeye Fatou also gained valuable experience in international financial institutions, such as the African Development Bank and the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), as well as development agencies and cooperation organizations like GIZ.
Her expertise spans topics related to climate change adaptation, local government resilience, and financing for local development, with a strong focus on sustainability and inclusion. She holds a master’s degree in international development from Sciences Po Paris, majoring in African studies and emerging economies.
