Mouhamadou Ba

Project Manager

Mouhamadou Ba is a Project Manager within Altai’s Peace, Security and Stability practice in West Africa.

Before joining Altai, Mouhamadou worked as a West-African Advocacy and Campaigns Manager supporting national, regional and international NGOs to build advocacy strategies for greater protection of civilians in the Sahel. He also worked at the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Peace and Security Centre of Competence Sub-Saharan Africa on the: “Security for All Project”, co-funded by the European Union, which aimed to promote inclusive security provision and democratic governance through CSO involvement in Mali, Nigeria, Cameroon and the wider ECOWAS region.

Earlier in this career, Mouhamadou has conducted research on peace and security, climate change and governance issues in West Africa and the Sahel for UNOWAS and OSIWA. Mouhamadou holds a Master’s degree Strategic Studies from the University Paris Sorbonne- Cité and a Master’s degree in Public International Law from the University Panthéon-Sorbonne.
