Marie Lesage Moretti

Senior Project Manager

Marie Lesage Moretti is a Senior Project Manager at Altai Consulting.

Marie has over five years of experience conducting strategy analysis, research and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) for a large range of clients (foundations, donors, international organisations, UN agencies, NGOs and private companies) in Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia. Her work spans diverse sectors such as financial inclusion, agriculture, education and telecoms.

She has directed large-scale quantitative studies for organisations such as GIZ, the EIB, UNICEF and the GSMA, applying advanced statistical methods to on-the-ground field realities in low- and middle-income countries. Her work focuses on the inclusion of vulnerable populations, particularly women, persons with disabilities or developmental delays, youth and rural communities.

Marie also advises private-sector clients and investors on operations and investments in emerging and fragile markets, delivering market assessments and strategic recommendations across sectors including agriculture, construction and FMCG/retail.

Marie began her career evaluating social policies, including immigration, education and health, for governments, international organisations and foundations. Before joining Altai, she also led research in low- and middle-income countries, including for tech companies.

Marie holds a Master's in Management from HEC Paris, one of Europe's leading business schools, and a Master's in Quantitative Economics and Finance from ENSAE, one of France's leading engineering schools.
