Project Manager
Marie Lesage Moretti is a Project Manager at Altai Consulting.
She conducts strategy analysis, quantitative research, and evaluations, focusing on vulnerable populations—especially women, persons with disabilities, and rural communities—across sectors such as financial inclusion, agriculture, education, and telecoms. Her work spans diverse geographies in LMICs, including Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
Marie has led multiple projects focused on vulnerable populations—including women (for FSDU and the Grameen Foundation), persons with disabilities (for IDA and ATscale), and rural communities (for IUCN). She has also contributed to several large-scale quantitative studies in emerging markets, notably on financial inclusion (for GIZ and EIB), education (for UNICEF), and agriculture (for GSMA).
Marie began her career evaluating social policies—such as immigration, education, and health—for governments, international organizations, and foundations. She notably led quantitative analyses at the OECD Statistics Division and the French Ministry of Health, and also worked for an NGO focused on preventing school dropout. Before joining Altai, she also led research in LMICs, including for tech companies.
Marie holds a Master’s in Management from HEC Paris, Europe’s leading Business School, and a Master’s in Quantitative Economics and Finance from ENSAE, one of the leading engineering schools in France.
