Project Coordinator

Liban Hussein is a Project Coordinator with Altai’s East Africa team, supporting Altai’s research and M&E projects in the Somali regions. Liban’s main areas of interest are security sector reform, stabilisation and the role of media in supporting stabilisation, and DDR. Liban coordinates and conducts primary research for Altai’s projects with the World Bank, IOM, US and UK Governments. Liban is a fluent Somali speaker and holds a BA in International Relations as well as an MA in Development Studies from the United States International University - Africa.
