Giordana is a Project Manager with Altai’s East Africa team. Prior to joining Altai, Giordana worked at the European Commission in the field of fraud prevention, where she conducted preliminary investigations into fraud and corruption affecting the EU budget. Her previous research focused on understanding the roots of organised crime and assessing legal tools to prevent its spread. She also spent time in the Philippines managing a project for an NGO to empower economically and socially marginalised communities. Giordana holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice Policy from the London School of Economics and an undergraduate degree in Social Sciences from the Europe-Asia campus of the Paris Institute for Political Studies, SciencesPo Paris. She is fluent in Italian, German, English and French and has a good command of Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
