Dhanya Williams

Project Director

Dhanya Williams is a Project Director at Altai Consulting. She has nearly ten years of experience leading research, assessments and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) on themes related to migration and displacement in the East Africa region. Among other migration-related projects, she currently manages Altai’s Monitoring and Learning System for the European Union Trust Fund for Africa team in the Horn of Africa, which provides monitoring and learning expertise to a portfolio of more than 230 projects across 11 countries in the region. Prior to joining Altai, Dhanya worked in Burundi, Rwanda, South Sudan, Somalia and Kenya for UNHCR, Concern Worldwide and IMPACT Initiatives. During this time, she led M&E and needs assessments ranging from a randomised controlled trial of nutrition programming in northern Burundi to a large-scale multi-agency Joint Multi-Cluster Needs Assessment in Somalia. She holds a Master of Arts in International Security from Sciences Po Paris.
