Christine Awuor

Senior Project Manager

Christine Awuor is a Senior Project Manager with Altai’s East Africa team. Christine leads Altai’s Third Party Monitoring work and has a strong focus on Somalia. Recently, Christine led Altai’s work on the FCDO-funded Learning and Monitoring Programme Somalia (LAMPS), where she oversaw in-depth research and third party monitoring and verification across various programme areas. She has ten years of experience spanning public, private and non-governmental organisations, focusing on strategic planning, research, monitoring and evaluation, organisational development and performance management. Previously Christine headed research and evaluation, and organisational development portfolios for a management consulting firm based in Nairobi. She has also worked with GIZ, USAID Kenya, UNWomen, FEMNET, and Tax Justice Network Africa. Christine holds a double bachelors’ degree in Sociology and English, and is completing her MA in governance and leadership, from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
