Audrey Rochard

Director

Audrey currently leads Altai Consulting’s activities in West Africa, managing a team of consultants based in Senegal and a network of researchers working throughout the region, at the crossroads of four thematic pillars: Environment & Climate; Peace, Security and Stability; Migration & displacement; and Inclusive Growth.

As Director, she manages strategic research and advisory engagements addressing complex public policy challenges across West Africa. She oversees large-scale analytical and monitoring assignments for institutional clients, contributing to the production of high-quality reports and evidence-based recommendations that inform donor strategies and public policy decisions. Drawing on her extensive regional experience, she brings strong expertise in justice and security sector reform, analysing evolving political and security dynamics, supporting clients in navigating complex operational and policy environments.

Prior to joining Altai Consulting, Audrey held positions within leading international and national institutions, including the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the U.S. Department of Justice, and the French Ministry of the Interior. Across West Africa and at the international level, she developed extensive experience in strategic programme oversight, institutional reform and stakeholder coordination, regularly providing analytical briefings and policy recommendations to senior government officials and international partners.

Audrey holds Master’s degrees in Criminal Law and Environmental Law from universities in
Lyon, France.
