Alizée Boutard Geze is a director at Altai Consulting.
She has over ten years of experience managing strategy consulting, research, and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) assignments for international organizations, private sector clients, and foundations across Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. Her key areas of expertise include private sector development, agriculture, nutrition, digital services, and the inclusion of vulnerable populations.
Alizée has led large-scale, multi-country assignments to support the development of AgriTech and ClimateTech start-ups in Africa and Asia. She has also spearheaded most of Altai’s nutrition-related projects, including work on Ready-to-Use Therapeutic and Supplementary Foods (RUTF/RUSF), food fortification, industry assessments, and dietary research.
Additionally, she regularly advises private sector clients and investors on their operations and investments in emerging and fragile markets, providing market assessments and commercial due diligence across various sectors, such as agriculture, construction, and FMCG/retail.
Throughout her career, Alizée has developed specialized expertise in the inclusion of vulnerable populations, notably persons with disabilities, low-income consumers, and women. She also leads Altai’s projects in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Alizée holds degrees from HEC Paris, Europe’s leading business school, and the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po Paris). She is fluent in French, English, and German and has a good command of Russian.
