The Protection of Syrian Children en route to Europe

The NGO Save the Children commissioned Altai Consulting to conduct a research on the protection of Syrian Children en route to Europe. The work included identifying the drivers of migration from the Middle East to Europe, with a focus on the drivers for migration among unaccompanied minors, travel routes, key protection issues that children face along the way, the mapping of immediate interventions and measures being put in place to mitigate risks for migrating children in countries of origin, and in transit.
