Final Evaluation of the France-IUCN 2021-2024 Partnership Agreement

Altai was commissioned by the IUCN to conduct the final evaluation of the France-IUCN Partnership Agreement 2021-2024. The main objective of this evaluation was to formulate a credible and independent judgment on the merits, implementation challenges and effects of the 2021-2024 Agreement, particularly with a view to inform the development of the next phase of the Partnership.

Altai formulated strategic and operational recommendations for both the IUCN and its French partners, with a view to improving the Partnership's performance, in connection with the construction of a possible next phase (phase 6), taking into account the agenda of international negotiations, the global framework for biodiversity governance, as well as the IUCN 2026-2029 work program.
