Khalil is a Project Manager at Altai Consulting.
Khalil has conducted studies on several value chains and economic sectors in Iraq, as well as organised and facilitated workshops on the wood industry in Lebanon, for clients such as the World Bank, Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and Expertise France.
Prior to joining Altai, Khalil worked as an urban economist at UN Habitat on the Housing National Strategy of Lebanon. He also worked for the Carnegie Middle East Center, where his research focused on economic inequalities in the Arab region, the Syrian refugee crisis, as well as cross-border issues in the region.
A native Arabic speaker, Khalil holds a Master of Science in Urban economic development from University College of London (UK) and a Bachelor of Arts from American University of Beirut (Lebanon).
