Can Aniker
Project Manager
Can Aniker is a Project Manager based in Altai’s Addis Ababa office. He has extensive knowledge in the design of M&E protocols in the areas of economic development, livelihoods, WaSH and migration. He is experienced in coordinating complex surveys across all regions in Ethiopia, and he has managed assignments for a broad range of clients including the World Bank, FCDO, USAID, and various UN agencies and INGOs. Additionally, Can supports a range of ongoing projects for Altai, including a secondment as MEAL Manager for the Danish Refugee Council's FCDO-funded Ethiopia Migration Programme (EMP). Before joining Altai, Can led the design of M&E research studies and technical support contracts for a field research firm in Ethiopia. He also managed the M&E for early recovery projects in northern Syria for the ROIA Foundation and coordinated program development for human rights NGO 7amleh in Israel and The Occupied Palestinian Territories. He has an undergraduate degree in International Relations from the University of Sussex (UK) and a postgraduate degree in Governance, Development & Public Policy from the Institute of Development Studies (UK).
