In 2007, Altai Consulting was commissioned to conduct an in-depth analysis of the media industry (Print, TV & Radio, Web) in 3 Central Asian countries for a European-based player looking at investment opportunities. The project included sophisticated forecasting of the advertising market for each country, full review of the legal & regulatory environment, and financial valuation of primary targets.
Altai Consulting was commissioned in 2007 by a regional GSM player to develop a full brand identity (and name) for a 3G operator in Central Asia to be launched next year. The project involved a qualitative study on brand perceptions in the country as well as creative workshops with artists, journalists and other trendsetters to shortlist powerful names.
Altai Consulting teams have designed methodologies to come up with accurate estimates of Gross Rating Points (GRP) by media -TV & Radio- in countries where little data is available. These tools allow our clients to optimize their media spends in countries where media consumption is not monitored.
