Afghan Media in 2010 Synthesis Report


Commissioned by USAID, Altai Consulting has developed a multi-layer research methodology to assess the development, penetration, perception and impact on the civil society of the media in Afghanistan. This methodology was deployed at the national scale in 2010 to measure the progress of Afghan independent and state media 8 years after the fall of Taliban, and identify areas of opportunities to continue supporting the emergence of a vibrant media landscape throughout Afghanistan.
