Rodolphe Baudeau is one of the Partners of Altai Consulting. His main focus is post-conflict reconstruction issues (illegal economy, security, counter-insurgency, rural development).

Rodolphe has supervised the efforts of the teams on the researches and surveys for NATO (ISAF) in Afghanistan: Quantitative Survey on Counter-narcotics, Nationwide Assessment Survey and Nationwide Research and Survey on Illegal State Opposing Armed Groups (ISOAGs). These projects involved teams of more than 90 field researchers, monitors and consultants in all 34 Provinces of Afghanistan.

In addition, Rodolphe has worked on numerous projects including a Mapping of the Alternative Livelihoods Programs for UNODC and a review of the Agri-business Assistance Programs for the Japanese Government.

He also led the Horticulture Market Sector Assessment for the Afghan Ministry of Commerce and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The project's aims were to identify attractive agri-business opportunities and improved methods for leveraging Afghanistan's horticulture potential at all levels, from production to harvesting, as well as processing, marketing and distribution. The assessment also provides insight on how to increase the added-value of horticulture products and meet the demands of domestic, regional and international markets.

Prior to working in Afghanistan, Rodolphe was Marketing Manager at L'Oréal Consumer Goods Division in Paris, in charge of eight international brands. In addition, he has taught Marketing and Communication at Sciences-Po Paris, one of France's most prestigious academic institutions.

Rodolphe holds an MBA from ESSEC-Paris with a major in Marketing. He has spent 4 years in Afghanistan and traveled in most provinces of the country.
