Mary Beth Wilson is a social research consultant with Altai Consulting.
Since joining Altai, she has worked on a market sector assessment of Afghan handicrafts for the export market and managed a research study on Provincial Councils and Provincial Governance.
Prior to joining Altai, Mary Beth was a Policy Analyst at Global Policy Group Inc., an international consultancy / government relations firm based in Washington, DC. There she worked on analyzing trade, environment, and investment policy trends for international and domestic clients. She also spent a year in St. Louis, Missouri as a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs and spent a year and a half teaching elementary school.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in both History and International Relations, with a focus on Latin America, from Kenyon College of Ohio, where she also had a minor in Asian Studies. She additionally holds a Masters degree in International Relations and Economics with a specialization in American Foreign Policy and International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
Mary Beth has traveled extensively in Europe, South America, and Asia, and has lived in the United States, Italy, Argentina, and Afghanistan for work and study.
