Jean S. Renouf is a research Consultant working in the Research and Evaluation Department. Program Manager within the Cognitive Effects Evaluation project, his areas of interests includes security and post-conflict studies, social and economic development as well as philosophy.
He has an extensive field work experience. Prior to joining Altai Consulting, Jean has worked as a humanitarian aid-worker in North Korea, Iraq, D.R. Congo, and Cuba, where he held various management positions focusing on emergency interventions. He has also lived and traveled on all the continents.
Jean has published several articles related to security and post-conflicts studies and presented several lectures on the same topic. PhD Candidate in International Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Jean graduated from the prestigious Paris Institute for Political Studies (Sciences Po Paris). He also holds a Bachelor Degree in both International Law and Russian.
In addition to his native French, Jean is fluent in English and Spanish. He can also communicate in Russian, Polish and a bit of Arabic.
